Yes, Fandoms 4 Autism is back for a second year :) In 2012, we raised a grand total of £814.45 for the National Autistic Society which was completely brilliant! In 2013, we want to beat this and our target is £1,000. This year we will be raising money directly to Jon & Kim's Autism Aware UK so they can continue to provide support for people and families affected by autism but to do this we need your help.

Again thank you for a great 2012 fundraiser and here's to 2013's being even bigger!

Over the weekend we closed donation receipt submission and sent out the compilation. I thought I'd do a quick post to say that we raised a total of £814.45 for the National Autistic Society! I would like to thank everyone who supported us and made this fundraiser a huge success. I really hope you all enjoy the compilation.

I'm heading to the Cosmopolis Premiere at Cannes Film Festival next week and I'm flying back on 26th May in the evening (which was the original day that I planned to email the compilation). As I won't be home until late evening I've decided to begin emailing the compilation on May 27th.

Because I'm sending the compilation out a day late I've decided to extend the donation submission to 11.59PM (GMT) on Saturday 26th May.

The lovely Fennie has offered to take over emailing receipt confirmations so all will still be running normally on the donation submission front.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

As you probably know we set out to raise £500 for The National Autistic Society and last night we achieved our goal and now have a total of £500.50 raised. There's still 4 weeks left to donate so let's see how much more we can raise!

If you'd like to donate you can find out how to do so here. Finally to all 58 donors we've had so far, your support has helped us to break our goal early. I cannot but into words how much this means to us so thank you!

We're just over the halfway point of the fundraiser and I thought I'd bring you an update on how our fundraising efforts are going.

Author Sign Up
To date we've had a total of 45 authors from 3 fandoms sign up! You can view all our contributing authors here. We've been asked if we have a cut off for author sign ups and the answer is no, if you're not sure if you'd be able to get a piece written in time but you find you do (and have it beta'ed in time) you can sign up on the day of submission close (May 5th) and submit it.

Donations
Since the day of announcement we've received 47 donations totalling £436.75, we are so close to our goal and there's still 5 weeks left to donate so if you can please do. Maybe we can smash our goal? Donation details can be found here.

That's everything really, thank you to everyone who has supported us and continues to do so!
